Visiting Instructor, Line Program

Employment Detail: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: $80,000/Academic Year (August – May)

Duties include teaching the currently approved classes of the Pre-Apprentice Line Program at Highlands. Classes consist of classroom lectures in addition to utilizing hands-on technical applications of the lecture material. The successful candidate must have the ability to advise students in the use the equipment and materials specific to the Line Program. Must maintain a safe, clean and functional indoor classroom and laboratory as well as the pole yard and all equipment. Actively promote the Line Program, recruit students and work with local and regional schools and industries. Will also have campus responsibilities to include, but not limited to advising students, campus and advisory committees. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as computer skills.
