DUTIES:
Payroll, Responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing for approximately 1,000 employees, including 500 classified and professional staff and 500 student workers, on a bi-weekly schedule. This position requires a high level of accuracy, discretion, and initiative and will serve as the primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries.
Working independently and collaboratively with the Payroll and Benefits Supervisor and Human Resources, this role supports timely and compliant payroll operations, provides training to employees on payroll policies and systems, and ensures proper documentation and data integrity across all payroll functions.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Payroll or Accounting knowledge or experience
- Working knowledge of integrated information systems, word processing, spreadsheets, email, and database software

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or related field
- Experience with Banner
