Teaching, research and service within the Chemistry & Geochemistry Department. Primary teaching responsibilities will be in Quantitative Chemical Analysis and Advanced Instrumental Analysis, and the development of advanced courses in Analytical Chemistry that support the individuals’ research interests and those of the Department. In addition, teaching responsibilities may include courses in the General Chemistry sequence or other areas as needed. Development of an active, funded research program related to any area of analytical chemistry is expected and working with both undergraduate and master’s level graduate students will be required. Research areas including, but not limited to, analytical chemistry, bioanalytical chemistry, and environmental chemistry are targeted for strategic development within the Department.
