Montana Tech’s Enrollment Services office seeks a Graduation Program Manager who is committed to delivering friendly, efficient, and effective service. Essential duties include reviewing graduation applications, advising students about requirements, and awarding degrees. This position collaborates with the registrar, faculty advisors, graduate school administrators, and students to ensure delivery of accurate and consistent information. They maintain the degree audit tool and the Student Education Planner (SEP). The position participates on the campus commencement committee and assists with planning two graduation events yearly. The Program Manager is part of the Enrollment Services team and provides customer service to students, faculty, and staff related to matters such as major changes, registration, and grades. They assist in evaluating programs, policies, and procedures with the goal of eliminating administrative barriers to student success and making recommendations about how to implement such measures.
Duties:
- Review graduation applications, advise students about their requirements, complete data entry to award degrees
- Scribe and maintain Degree Works (degree audit platform
- Coordinate with campus Commencement Committee to plan graduation events
- Deliver exemplary customer service by assisting students in Enrollment Services
• Bachelor’s degree
• Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to establish and maintain effective and collaborative working relationships within and outside the work group and serve as a liaison for the organizational unit
• Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous work experience in post-secondary education or experience in a related field
• Knowledge of the Montana University system and the Graduate Programs.
• Previous experience with Ellucian Banner, Degree Works, and Electronic Document Repository
