Accounts Payable

  • Perform all aspects of Accounts Payable by issuing purchase orders, coding and entering invoices, communicating policies & procedures.


  • Responsible for administering employee Procards (University charge cards), handling receipts, reconciling transactions, and maintain expenditure controls.

Travel & Entertainment

  • Process travel and entertainment request forms and reimbursements, communicate policies and procedures.  Manage foreign travel insurance/registration. 

Manage State ID Requests

Assist Purchasing Manager with purchases and contracts

Research & Investigate accounting problems

Responsible for record retention

Assist with audit and fiscal year end accounting

Other duties as assigned


  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of three (3) years related work experience
  • Accounts Payable experience
  • High level of proficiency in the operation of personal computer and software programs, including Word, Excel, and electronic mail


  • Ability to multi-task efficiently and adhere to strict deadlines
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to physically bend, lift, and move objects  


  • Associate’s Degree in Business, Accounting or related field
  • Knowledge of The State of Montana and University System policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of Banner Finance.
